Rev. Aloysius Fondong Abangalo, Bishop of Mamfe Diocese



Rev. Aloysius Fondong Abangalo has been appointed new Bishop of the Mamfe Diocese today February 22, by The Holy Father Francis.

This comes barely few hours after the Archbishop of Bamenda and Apostolic Administrator of Mamfe, Rev. Andrew Fuanya NKEA makes a public announcement calling on Priests, Religious Men and Women and All Christ's Lay Faithful of the Diocese of Mamfe to assemble at the St. Joseph's Cathedral Mamfe today, February 22.


It is worth noting that, the said Diocese has been without Bishop since December 2019, and has had as interim the current Archbishop of Bamenda who doubles as former Bishop of Mamfe.
Born June 5 1973, Rev, Aloysius Fondong was ordained Priest on April 20 2006.

PCC TRAINS, EQUIPS MORE NONVIOLENT, PEACE ACTORS

Photo credit: CKA Attendees of the workshop As part of measures to curb the spread of violence in Cameroon’s North West region, the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon (PCC) Peace Work Office organized a one-day workshop on Nonviolence for 21 selected youth from the North West on Wednesday June 23, 2021 in Bafoussam. The workshop is an activity of the Peace Education and Nonviolence in Schools and Communities Project of the PCC Peace Work Office. The project spans January to December 2021 and has support from the German government’s Civil Peace Service (CPS) project Cameroon. It seeks to engage students develop a culture of peace in schools and youth to develop nonviolent attitudes in communities.
